The 45 rpm record sleeves above represent songs submitted to Decca Records in 1964 and 1965. All three recordings were enthustically received by the company but none made it onto the UK hit parade, at least not under The Presidents' name.

The "She Said Yeah" story

In the mid-60s when The Presidents signed with Decca Records they submitted an acetate recording of "She Said Yeah", written by Roddy Jackson and Sonny Bono, for possible release ... but it mysteriously disappeared.
Incredibly, almost 53 years later the missing acetate recording was discovered and, on
June 29, 2018, was released on an Ace Records "Planet Beat" compilation CD of previously unreleased 1960s tracks sourced from the Shel Talmy Vaults.
